At B&N Wellness, we believe every dog deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and supported. These policies help us maintain a calm, respectful environment where both dogs and their humans can relax, knowing everything we do is rooted in trust, consent, and care.

Late Arrivals

We understand life gets busy! If you’re running more than 10 minutes late, please send us a quick message. We’ll do our best to adjust, but your dog’s session may be shortened to stay on schedule — we never want to rush their experience.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments are booked exclusively for your dog’s time and comfort. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or reschedules. Missed or same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee, as that time was reserved just for your pup.

Vaccine Requirements

For the safety of every wagging tail that visits our clinic, we ask that all dogs are up to date on their core vaccines. This helps us keep a clean, healthy space for all our clients.

Flea Policy

If your dog is found to have fleas, we’ll need to reschedule their session until they’re flea-free. This ensures every dog who walks through our doors can enjoy a clean, comfortable, and stress-free visit.

​

**If fleas are discovered during a session, a $100 Flea Sanitation Fee will be applied to that appointment. This fee covers the deep cleaning and disinfection required, as well as the 48-hour downtime needed to ensure a safe environment for all clients.

​

Kennel Cough & Illness

If your dog has shown any signs of illness including coughing, vomiting, or diarrhea  within the past 30 days, please contact us to rebook when they’re fully recovered. We appreciate your care in keeping every client happy and healthy. 💚

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service.
We currently accept e-transfer, cash, debit and credit card for your convenience.
Prices are subject to change with notice.

Behaviour, Safety & Consent

Your dog’s comfort, safety, and choice are always our top priorities.
If your pup shows signs of pain, fear, or stress that make a session unsafe, we may pause or end the session early. Consent matters — we always work at your dog’s pace, never forcing touch or movement.

To ensure transparency and safety for both dogs and practitioners, all sessions are recorded on video. Recordings remain confidential and are used solely for training, safety, and quality assurance.

​

With the owner’s consent, small video clips or photos from a session may be shared on our social media platforms to celebrate your dog’s journey and spread awareness about canine bodywork. We’ll always ask first before posting.

Sessions are billed according to the time and work completed, even if shortened for safety or comfort reasons.

Post-Session Care

After a session, many dogs feel relaxed, sleepy, or a little extra snuggly that’s completely normal! We recommend 12–24 hours of rest and no strenuous activity to allow their body to fully absorb the benefits of bodywork. Gentle walks, naps, and hydration are perfect.

Guardian Presence

We ask that guardians remain on-site during the first session. Once your pup feels comfortable and confident, you’re welcome to run errands or step out during future visits. They’ll be in gentle, caring hands the entire time.

Photography & Social Media

Photos are welcomed and encouraged! We love capturing your dog’s happy, relaxed moments. Images may be shared on our social pages or used for educational purposes — please be sure to tag us🐾

Team Approach

B&N Wellness bodywork is complementary to veterinary care — we work hand-in-hand with your vet, chiropractor to support your dog’s overall well-being. Whether they’re a high-performance athlete or a couch snuggler, every session is designed to help them move, feel, and live better.

Liability & Respect

All services provided by B&N Wellness are non-diagnostic, non-invasive, and not a replacement for veterinary treatment.

By booking a session, you acknowledge that bodywork is provided solely to support your dog’s wellness and release B&N Wellness from liability for any unforeseen outcomes.

We maintain a positive, respectful environment aggressive or inappropriate behavior (from humans or dogs) will result in termination of services.

Refunds & Reschedules

Refunds or credits are provided at the discretion of B&N Wellness.
If we ever need to reschedule due to weather, illness, or emergencies, you’ll be contacted right away and rebooked as soon as possible.
